The Steep Rockery

We built this rockery to make good use of this challenging steep slope.

Courtyard Fruit Trees

Courtyard Fruit Trees

Espalier trained fruit trees make an attractive productive feature in this courtyard garden. Phyllostachys aurea provides vital screening in corner.

Vegetable and Fruit Beds

Vegetable and Fruit Beds

This timber raised bed with a gravel path is a low maintenance and attractive way to grow vegetables and fruit. We planted an espalier Morello Cherry, trained on the wall, with Clematis for colour, strawberries trail over the edge of the beds, and the lower bed is planted with a mix of herbs.

Sunny Border

Sunny Border

Regularly spaced Stipa gigantea provides structure for the perennial planting in this border, Echium pininana and Eremurus robustus give height and focus.
